RAINLILY

Established in 2000 as Hong Kong's first sexual violence crisis centre, Rainlily provides round-the-clock, one-stop intervention support to female victim-survivors aged 14 and above. The support services offered include pregnancy prevention, screening and treatment for sexually transmitted infections, forensic medical examination, psychological support, and assistance with judicial procedures such as statement-taking and court hearings. Rainlily provides in-depth support to over 300 victim-survivors and handles more than 2,000 requests for assistance each year.

Rainlily has appointed DIP MAD to create a brand identity system and art direction for them.

BRAND IDENTITY
ART DIRECTION

Inspired by the core value of the organization Rainlily, in which name came from the flower ‘rain lilies’. The easy to grow characteristic of the flower echoes the value of victim-survivors. The main visual is created by number of teardrops shapes in a circular placement as flower petals, while using the primary colour palette in turquoise and lavender, representing the symbolic meaning of tears transforming into blossoms. We created an animation that promotes their service. We aligned the main visual shape to chat box & locks to represent communication and safety. The result is a unified visual system that draws more attention from the society and successful promoted their service.
